Learn the A to Z of baking fudgy brownies that taste heavenly with the pastry chef Gunjan. The workshop will cover the basics of baking, and introduce you to the right ingredients and quantities. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀? Brownies are bar cookies. It’s a widely consumed chocolate baked confection and is usually square or rectangle in shape. Brownies date back to 1897. They began their life in a Sears, and were so named because of their dark brown color. The early brownies were made without chocolate. However in the last century, they have evolved to incorporate chocolate as the major ingredient. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀? Blondies can be considered as a cousin of brownies. The major difference between the two being the ingredient chocolate. It is usually made by using vanilla instead of cocoa. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽? Everyone loves dense, fudgy brownies. When the brownie cravings hit hard, more often than not, we have to rely on bakeries. On most occasions, we are not able to get our hands on perfect tasting brownies. The Creative Head and Head Instructor of Bake with Gunjan. Gunjan have been baking since the age of 12 and though she doesn’t bake everyday, her every single day revolves around baking. She organises recipes, think of new content, edit pictures and do all that's required to keep her students thrilled. She started her own baking school with a vision of training people who are passionate about baking. Most of the students that she've trained, have started their own businesses. Helping her students in being successful is what gives her a purpose to be in this industry.
